Fantasy is all around us, but sometimes we have to look a little harder to find it. Here at Noctivagant Press, we recognise this and aim to allow fantasy to spill over the boundaries into the mundane. We are passionate about fantasy and want to see how passionate you are, too. We want to get lost in everything from the traditional to the obscure, but more than anything, we want to see originality and imagination. Come join us as we cross over the threshold into the sublunary.

We accept all writers, with a special encouragement from under-represented writers.

Please refer to our submission guidelines for full details.

Meet The Team

Louise Heywood

Louise is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Noctivagant Press. She has been lost in fantasy worlds for many years and occasionally rears her head to work on her own novel and write fantasy-style poetry. Louise has a particular interest in visual poetry – some of her work has been featured in Streetcake Magazine – Issue 70, Issue 713Moon Magazine, and fantasy work in British Fantasy Society's Horizons Issue 13. Louise has a BA in English Language and Creative Writing, and an MA in Publishing – though, she doesn't care if prospective writers have degrees or not. Having started her higher education later in life, she knows the difficulties that some face.

Chloe Bridge

Chloe is Editor at Noctivagant Press. She has been in love with fantasy from a young age, she likes to create her own poetry and prose with their own twists and turns entwined. Chloe has a BA in English and Creative Writing, she likes ideas that are out of the box and that make her think. Everyone needs their little break and she hopes to help people get to where they want to be with their writing.
